Eagle Award Presented – Officer Dunbar

Freedom Behavioral Health, Inc. has presented Officer Jacob Dunbar its Eagle Award for heroic actions in the area of professional wellness and behavioral health.

The Eagle Award is Freedom Behavioral Health’s most prestigious award and one of the highest honors a behavioral health professional/partner can be given.

Jacob Dunbar is a corrections officer with the Price County Sheriff’s office. Prior to working for the sheriff’s office, Officer Dunbar worked in a juvenile correctional facility.

According to Mental Health America, “Nearly 1 in 5 American adults will have a diagnosable mental health condition in any given year.” Freedom Behavioral Health is proud to promote the heroic actions and efforts of the individuals working in this important field. Officer Dunbar performed an exceptional act under emergency conditions, and the action rendered directly resulted in sustaining a human life.

Officer Jacob Dunbar received the award during a presentation in August 2022.
